We just visited with family in Colorado, and on one of the nights that we were there, we convinced my parents to rent the movie Across the Universe. My parents are big Beatles fans, and the movie did a wonderful job at interpreting their songs and turning them into a full length feature. I hoped that my parents wouldn't be upset by the "sacrilege" of Beatles song remakes. By the end of the film, however, my mother was more concerned with the fact that we allowed our children to see it. She gave me the usual third degree, citing the scenes with drugs and nudity. read more »

living with the pull-up
So we thought choosyboy was officially potty trained, but he has been wetting the bed at night. We've got him in a pull-up, which sucks because they are so expensive, but at least we don't have to wash the sheets every night.
It's difficult to deal with this problem, since it happens overnight, and he doesn't even know he's doing it.
