Yesterday, my left eye was bothering me most of the evening. It felt like there may be a rogue eyelash hiding in there somewhere, but I never managed to find it. This morning, I awoke and found the troubled eye to be full of "gooey" stuff...obvious signs of an infection. Conjunctivitis is the word that the doctors use. Luckily for me, we still have some eye-drops from the last bout of conjunctivitis that raged through our family. Hopefully the kids don't pick it up and take it to school with them. I'd hate to be the source of massive school-wide gooey eyes.  read more »

My eyes have been bugging me for the last few days while I've been working on the walls and ceilings. I'm not certain if it is the spray texture, sanding, or the paint but my eyes are itchy, red, and sometimes hazy. Given that I work on a computer so often, this is a like a double dose of bad health for my eyes. I try to do that "look away every few minutes" thing when I'm working on the computer, but I'm not as religious about it as I should be.  read more »
